Saturday
Met up with Michelle (fung kor). Had a wonderful girlie time digging out bargains at Curve/Cineleisure. What more with the weekend bazaar on. Watched "UP" and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. :)

Hungry us demanding to be fed, after rummaging for bargains at the bazaar..

Snack time before "UP"!

:) Been a while since I last took pictures.. not looking my best but it is refreshing indeed!
Sunday
Met up with Doggy at Pyramid. Fun-filled time of "Bishi-Bashi!" and "ParaPara Sakura!". Attempted some shopping, had a Fire Eader at CocoBanana whereby we were totally short-changed for the amount and ended the night with "Sophie's Revenge." Unfortunately, that movie isn't showing in cinemas outside KL.

Doggy/Hamster. Why in all the pics you take surely got some hand gestures ge?

Honey mustard sauce with fried potato!!!~ Pricey but a good snack to smuggle into the cinema. :P RM5 Japanese green tea ice cream. Nicer than strawberry. Hehe~

BISHI BASHI!!!*lurve* And another stress-relieving game at the arcade. SYIOK!~ Play until hand pain.. LoL.

Next up was Para-Para Sakura. We weren't that adventurous to try out the DDR. :P

AK47 and Fire Eader. Slightly alcoholic drinks before the movie. Gee, I'm already 21 and I've never set foot INSIDE a club before.. Guess being able to sit outside and get ripped off for drinks is a start. Hah~
Monday
Got busted by momma for coming back late and after being told off, off to Pyramid again, this time for a 2 hour RedBox session! A rather English karoke session I may add for Doggy doesn't know how to read mandarin either. :) We had to ask the waiter to add the songs for us.. LOL. Well, at least this time, my "han yu pin yin" paper didn't fly out the door..
Tuesday
Big time shopping with momma. Bought loads of stuff. Now, will I be going to UK or not? Sigh..
Wednesday
Flowers and Tenji. And more shopping to cap the wonderful day.

Excited to be able to try out this new/much-talked-about Jap Buffet Restaurant..

Jalan Solaris, Mont Kiara.

Obligatory picture with food. :)

This was only round one. There were many more after that but hunger always comes first.

They serve Hagen Daz! Didn't your mama ever tell you not to play with food? :)
All in all, the I'd give the buffet probably 6/10, the downside being the rather inedible sushi (the rice was rock hard and the fish tasted stale) and the perks being its huge variety to choose from, like Jogoya and the 5 Hagen Daz ice cream flavours to feast on! One scoop RM8, so take as much as you can!!!~ *proof that I am Chinese indeed- must make one's money worth!*

:) Told you it's quite overkill!!!~
Thursday
Finally a day where I stayed at home for more than half the day. Read story books and colour coded my laundry. Then off I went to Pyramid, this time alone, for a CD-hunting session and to get myself a pair of heels. I realise that when I go out alone, my usual routine will be to grab a quick snack-to-go or a drink, find what I need and hang-out for hours at a CD shop or a bookstore. Finding bliss surrounded by endless towers of discs and books and browsing for titles that I would never buy. Hmm..
Friday, Saturday & Sunday
PENANG! with a dear friend. The highlight of the holiday, one where I was able to finally sit back and relax, fill time with games and movies, endless walks along the beach, by the road, roller skating, scream my heart out on the "Discovery" aka "Tomahawk's twin" and not eat a single famous Penang delicacy. Well, except for the asam laksa below Kek Lok Si, one which I have had a craving for sooo long. :) Albeit the gloomy and rainy weather, this trip was one that was truly worth it. Oh and lets not forget notorious sticky bubbles in the car. LoL.
I love walks. I could walk and walk and walk to nowhere in particular. Just walk. It takes your mind off things and it keeps you away from the sedentary lifestyle. I plan to do loads of walking at the end of this year.. if I get to go! Fingers crossed!!!~

:)

Aboard the ferry!!! Aye Aye~

Penang bridge from where we were in the choppy sea..

Kek Lok Si.

And I didn't use an SLR. :)

Handsome. Though I prefer dogs.

Quaint little market on the hill next to the temple, selling all sorts of stuff.

COCONUT on a hot day! Thirst quencher!

YESSSSSSS!!! IT TASTED SOOOO GOOD...

The ride that killed the boy. :P
Monday
52th Merdeka Celebration? And of course Baskins for 31% off.
Tuesday henceforth..
Back to the mundane medical student lifestyle. I do hope that I will not lead a sedentary life anymore- "doggy please bring me to the gym once a week!". Day one of Ophthalmology and I'm now re-thinking my decision of specializing in this field, because there sure is a WHOLE lot more to it than what meets the EYE. Gosh!~
I'm back to the living hell again. Fuck.
